EIT Food supports new agri-food companies

New agri-food companies can now apply to become part of the European network RisingFoodStars, which gives access to a wide range of resources that can help the companies on the road to success. This is part of EIT Food, where Aarhus University is a core partner.

It is now possible for newly created agri-food companies to apply to become part of RisingFoodStars - thus accessing a wide range of resources such as networks, programmes and entrepreneurship support, as well as customers and distribution channels.

RisingFoodStars Association is part of EIT Food - where Aarhus University is a core partner - and an umbrella for newly created agri-food companies by allowing its members to participate in all EIT Food activities. This allows companies to realize their potential for international growth - and they thereby contribute to create innovation for the benefit of the entire network.

Here you can also apply to become part of RisingFoodStars.

Application deadline 31 May 2020

The members of RisingFoodStars gain access to a large network of European companies, universities and research institutions - and matchmaking with relevant partners in the network.

By participating in events within the framework of EIT Food, the start-ups can benefit from increased visibility - both at a European and at a global level. For example, they can get an exhibition spot at main EU agri-food events with financial support from RisingFoodStars.

In addition, the companies are offered support to scale up production and to handle investment and other challenges in this phase. This takes place within the framework of a “scaleup academy”, among other things.
